On Sunday, September 1, 2024 John Mack Jolly was ushered by the angels into the arms of his Lord and Savior. He was 60 years old. John was born February 10, 1964 in Tupelo, the son of Charles T. Jolly and Mildred Fae Littlejohn Jolly. He was a member of Sherman Baptist Church and recently had recommitted his life to Christ. John worked as a foreman for S and H Steel for many years and also did carpentry work. He had a gift for working on anything mechanical and enjoyed tinkering on engines. John was always busy outside and had a green thumb for raising vegetables. He also enjoyed motorcycles.

John leaves behind his daughter, Melanie Jolly Gautreau (Lionel) of Fulton; five grandchildren, Landon, Logan, Lucas, Casen, and Colt; a sister, Angel Jolly of Sherman; a brother, Phil Jolly (Sandy) of Madison, Alabama; his wife, Sherri Goodrich Jolly; and Jake Vance.

Visitation will be5 until 7 p.m. Thursday, September 5, 2024 at Pegues, Tupelo.

Services will be 2 p.m. Friday, September 6, 2024 at the Jefferson Street Chapel of Pegues with Rev. Mike Brazeal officiating. Burial will follow in Pontotoc Memorial Gardens.

Pallbearers will be Christopher Jeffreys, Cory Eastman, Lionel Gautreau, and Terry Green.
