John M. “Buddy” Hadden, 80 of Boaz died Friday, January 8, 2021 at Marshall Medical Center South.
He was born February 17, 1940 to Pete and Sallie Hadden in Lyons, Ga.
He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Bonnie Hadden of Boaz, sons, John C. (Theresa) Hadden of Albertville, Curtis Hadden of Lake Wales, Fl. and Chris (Dana) Hadden of Sebring, Fl., daughters, Lisa Hadden of Albertville, Sonya Maynard of Geraldine, Al., Beth (Eddie) Bateman of Sebring, Fl. and Shirl Marshall of Little Rock, Arkansas. He had 17 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren. He was one of eight children; he has three brothers of Frostproof, Fl., and two sisters of Frostproof, Fl., and one sister from Bernard, N.C. and one sister, deceased.
His service will be Tuesday, January 12, 2021 at 2 p.m. at Albertville Memorial chapel with burial to follow at Beulah Cemetery. Rev. Paul Trussell will officiate the service. Pallbearers will be Keith Duke, Wesley Duke, Rick Ragsdale, John Hadden, Brian Ragsdale and Larry Butler.
Visitation will be from 12:30 until 2 before the service.
