John Luther Shumpert died Wednesday, October 23, 2024, at the North MS Medical Center. He was 78 years old.
A memorial service will be held at 6 PM on Monday, October 28, 2024, in the Sadie M. Holland Memorial Chapel at Holland Funeral Directors in Tupelo with the Rev. Derek Shumpert officiating. Visitation will be from 5 PM to service time Monday only. Burial will be private. For those unable to attend, the service will be livestreamed at 6 PM at hollandfuneraldirectors.com/live-streaming.
