John Leonard Edens, 74, Muscle Shoals, passed away on Wednesday, January 17, 2024. Visitation will be Friday, January 26, from 1:00 – 3:00 p.m. at Morrison Funeral Home, Tuscumbia. The funeral service will immediately follow in the funeral home chapel with Larry Smart officiating.
John was a proud veteran of the US Army, serving two tours in Vietnam. He had many interests, including gardening, travelling and spending time with his dogs and cats. But what he cherished most were the people that he loved. John enjoyed getting together and playing boardgames with his family and friends. He was preceded in death by his father, Clarence Scott Edens.
John is survived by his mother, Pauline Edens; sister, Paula Lowery; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
