Statement from Board of Directors of Singing River Trail:
Earlier today, the Board of Directors for the Singing River Trail learned of the arrest of its Executive Director, Dr. John Kvach. The alleged behavior is unacceptable and reprehensible. At this time, the Board of Directors does not believe that any of the alleged conduct involved Singing River Trail resources, offices, or sites, but should that change, the Board will direct its remaining team members to fully investigate any such allegation. Moreover, the Singing River Trail Team will cooperate with law enforcement in any way necessary.
As of today, the Board is beginning the process of Dr. Kvach’s separation from the Singing River Trail. As the Board navigates that process, we will begin the hard work of finding a new Executive Director that meets the Board’s high expectations and represents the values of the Singing River Trail. The important work of the Singing River Trail will continue. ~ Singing River Trail Board of Directors
