John Kenneth Jones, age 89, of McMinnville, TN, (Lucky Community) died Wednesday, September 13, 2023, at his residence. He was a farmer, enjoyed working on tractors and doing restoration work, and was preceded in death by parents Isaiah Columbus “I.C.” Jones, Sr. and Anna Lee Byars Jones, wife Hattie Jones, and a son Dwight Jones.
Survivors include daughter and son-in-law Jan Jones (Reed) Wade, grandsons Lane (Dana) Jones and Jake Jones, daughter-in-law Tammy Jones, sister Doris Ann (Walter) Grandey. Other family members and friends also survive.
Funeral service is scheduled for 2:00 P.M. Saturday, September 16, 2023 in the McMinnville Funeral Home Chaple. Tommy Womack will officiate. Interment will follow at Bethlehem Cemetery. The Jones family will receive friends on Friday from 3:00 P.M. until 7:00 P.M. and again on Saturday from 11:00 A.M. until the time of service at 2:00 P.M.
