John Kenneth Bowers, Jr. age 51 of Athens, passed away on Saturday, August 31, 2013 at Athens-Limestone Hospital. Mr. Bowers was born November 29, 1961 to John Kenneth Bowers, Sr. and Edwina Corder Freeman.
Services for Mr. Bowers are Sunday, September 01, 2013 at Limestone Chapel Funeral Home at 3:00 p.m. Visitation will be Sunday, September 01, 2013 from 1:00 until 2:45 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be in Roselawn Cemetery with Tim Keenum officiating.
He is survived by his mother, Edwina Corder Freeman and husband James; fathers, John Kenneth Bowers, Sr. and wife Peggy; daughters, Jamie Kidd and husband Paul and Rebecca Bowers; sister, Dewinna Bowers; grandson, Carter Griffin Kidd.
