Funeral service for John Howard Roberts, 69, will be Thursday, August 27, 2020 at 3:00 PM at Fairview Baptist Church with Bro. Paul Stowe and Bro. Myron Mooney officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing. Burial will be in Herring Cemetery. Visitation will be Wednesday, August 26, 2020 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Fairview Baptist Church.
Mr. Roberts died on Monday, August 24, 2020 at Decatur Morgan Hospital ER . He was born February 19, 1951, in Morgan County to James Howard Roberts and Lily Clara Brown Roberts. He was a Carpenter and Farmer and built many many homes in this area, as the owner of John Roberts Construction. He loved carpentry and building things, gardening and farming. He was a Deacon at Cornerstone Baptist Church and a School Board Member of Cornerstone Christian School. He was preceded in death by his parents.
