John Henry Powell, age 61, of Huntsville, crossed over, February 15, 2015.
John was the son of Lottie Mae Powell and Henry Slaughter, Jr.
John leaves to mourn a daughter, Shantell Pendleton and husband Gerald; a son, Master Jonathan Powell; a brother, Mr. Donald Wayne Powell and wife Valerie; and his sister, Mrs. Dorthy Powell Barley and husband David; he also leaves behind his grandchildren, Amber Powell-Patton and Tyler Powell; in addition to a host of family and friends.
A memorial service will be held at Inner City Church of Christ, 309 Seminole Dr. SW, Huntsville, AL 35805 at 11 am on Saturday February 21, 2015. For more information, please call the church at 256-539-0712.
