A visitation for Mr. John Henry will be Saturday, March 30, 2024 from 3:00 to 4:00 PM with a Celebration of Life Service to follow at 4:00 PM at Destiny Church, 24 Railroad Ave, Falkville.
Dr. Jerome Ward will be officiating and Peck Funeral Home is handling the arrangements.
Mr. Henry passed away Thursday, March 27, 2024 at his residence in Somerville at the age of 87. He was born to George and Patti Smallwood Henry on April 24, 1936 in Morgan County, AL.
He was a Veteran of the US Navy, He was well known for his watermelons, pumpkins, and garden vegetables. He was a simple man who loved his children and grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his parents, brothers, Leo, James, Gene, Hoyt, George B. and Loyd Henry.

Survivors include one son, John Daren Henry of Somerville
