John H. BarhamJohn H. Barham “Johnny”, 78, formerly of Satellite  Beach, FL, passed peacefully with his wife by his side on November 20, 2018.

The 10th of 10 children of Russell and Ethel Barham, John was born and spent his childhood in Kennett and Malden, in the boot heel of MO. He retired from the United States Air Force following 20-1/2 years of rewarding service, including service to our great nation during the Vietnam War.

Following military retirement he spent 17 years as a purchasing agent at Kennedy Space Center, FL in support of the space shuttle program.

He was a lifelong Cardinal fan both football and baseball, avid golfer, loved family, music particularly Elvis and Conway, dancing, and making people laugh. He never met a stranger and filled the world with his mischievious smile and sweet soul. He enjoyed cooking and having family and friends in his home for many gatherings.

John was preceded in death by his parents Russell and Ethel Barham, brothers, Russell, William, Charles and Hugh Barham and sisters, Peggy Mason, Virginia Sharp and Pauline Contino.

He is survived by his wife Mona, of Harvest, AL, daughter, Jonna of Melbourne, FL, son, Corey (Julie) of Winston Salem, NC. sisters, Jo Crawford of Burbank, CA, Barbara (Stan) Cook of Ocean Ridge, FL, 5 grandchildren, and 3 great grandchildren.

A memorial celebraton of John’s life will be held on Friday, January 25, 2019 at 2:30 P.M. at Cape Canaveral National Cemetary in Mims, Florida. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Petsmart Charities, your local animal shelter or Wounded Warriors Family Support.
