John Gregory Ivey, beloved son and father, departed this world after a brief illness on April 3, 2024. To know John, was to love him. He loved things larger than life and loved to tell tales just as big. Next to his twin, his son was his whole world. He loved to watch movies and play ball together. He made sure to teach him to cheer on the Yankees, Roll with the Tide, and love Kentucky basketball.
John is preceeded in death by his identical twin, James Ramon. He is survived by his only child, James Gregory Ivey (8), mother and father (Lisa and Danny Ivey), sister Vickie (Childs) and brother Joseph Ivey, as well as many extended family members and friends that he loved so deeply.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that any gifts or donations be made to assist in care of his son and any costs associated with his untimely death.
Visitation will be Sunday, April 7, 2024 at Berryhill Funeral Home from 12:00 to 2:00 PM.
