Funeral service for John Franklin “Frankie” Stephenson, Sr., 66, will be Tuesday, July 22, 2014 at 2:00 PM at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. Timothy Lipsey officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing. Burial will be in Salem Cemetery. Visitation will be Tuesday, July 22, 2014 from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM at the funeral home.
Mr. Stephenson died on Saturday, July 19, 2014 at Falkville Health Care Center. He was born October 13, 1947, in Lawrence County to Herman and Annie Holt Stephenson. Mr. Stephenson was retired from Abercrombie Chevrolet in Hartselle after being a Mechanic there for 42 years. He was a man of very few words that loved Alabama Crimson Tide football, traveling, being a part of his grandkids activities and being with his family. He was preceded in death by his parents, a sister: Madine Stephenson Hale and two brother-in-laws: Yual Hale and Cecil Legg, and mother-in-law: Josephine White.
