John Elmer Nichols, 80, died Friday, Nov. 18, 2016. Visitation will be 6-9 p.m. Sunday at Spry Memorial Chapel, Russellville. The service will be 1 p.m. Monday at the funeral home chapel, with burial in Winston Memorial Gardens Mausoleum, Haleyville. He was retired from the U.S. Air Force after 36 years.
