John Edward Prince John Edward Prince, 93, of Athens, passed away on Friday, October 25th, 2024, at his residence. He was born in Minor Hill, Tennessee, on December 25th, 1930, to Samuel and Lucille (White) Prince.

Mr. Prince is survived by his wife Peggy Prince; sons Richard D. Prince (Paula) and Jeffery L. Prince (Calista); grandchildren Christy Deal, Chandra Mitchell (Brad), Amber Hennessee (Jason), and Ashley Pressnell (Dustin); great-grandchildren Emma Deal, Ella Yarbrough, Emry Yarbrough, Easton Prince, Hayden Hennessee, Connell Hennessee, Colt Pressnell, and Layla Pressnell; step-great-grandchildren Addi Mitchell, Carter Ann Mitchell, and Austin Mitchell; and sister Betty Lou Hancock.

He is preceded in death by his parents Samuel and Lucille Prince; and sisters Bessie Sue Berry, Catherine Vinson, Lynada Taylor, and Mamie Rene Britton.

The funeral service will be Sunday, October 27th, 2024, 2:00 p.m., at Limestone Chapel Funeral Home, with Tee Jackson officiating. The visitation will be Sunday, from 12:30 to 1:45, at the funeral home. Pallbearers will be Joe Bailey, Byron Bonner, Jason Hennessee, Dustin Pressnell, Brad Mitchell, Colt Pressnell, and Hayden Hennessee. Honorary pallbearers will be Easton Prince and Connell Hennessee. Burial will be at Bottoms Cemetery.

Mr. Prince loved Alabama football and Atlanta Braves baseball.
