Mr. John Earl Smith, 65, passed away Friday February 26, 2016 in Chattanooga, Tennessee. He was retired from Yellow Freight. He was born in Woodville, Mississippi on December 13, 1950 to Floyd “Abner” and Doris Pierce Smith who preceded him in death along with a brother.
He is survived by his wife, Carla June Nelson Smith; sons, Berton (Jennifer) Smith, Dean (Kelly) Smith and Justin (Tonya) Bonner; daughters, Melissa (Robert) Johnson, Amanda Fullington and Lindsey Nelson; brothers, Sammy (Judy) Smith and Mike (Nancy) Smith; sisters, Alyce Hale and Belinda (John) Orgrodnick; 12 grandchildren.
Graveside funeral services will be 11:30 AM Est Thursday March 3, 2016 at the Chattanooga National Cemetery with military honors.
