John E. Foote, 79, of Guntersville, passed away Tuesday. He was preceded in death by his wife, Betty Foote; and parents, John and Helen Foote.
Mr. Foote served his country with the US Army during the Vietnam War. He retired as a mail carrier with the Huntsville Post Office.
Survivors include his sons, John Foote (Katie), and David Foote (Kerri). He was a loving grandfather to his five grandchildren, Riley, McKenna, Tessa, Colby, and Taylor.
A graveside service will be held at 10 a.m. on Friday, November 12 at Maple Hill Cemetery with Father Joshua Altonji officiating.
