John Douglas Cox, age 45 of Tuscumbia passed away on Thursday, April 30, 2015. Visitation will be Monday from 12-2 p.m. at Morrison Funeral Home, Tuscumbia. The memorial service will follow at 2 p.m. in the funeral home chapel with Don McGuyer officiating.
John was a loving son and wonderful brother and uncle, who was always willing to help in any matter. He enjoyed the outdoors, gardening and was an avid hunter. He had a beautiful smile and loved to laugh and instantly won the hearts of all who knew him.
He is survived by his parents, John and Charleen Hodge Cox; sisters, Leisa Cox, Angela Holschuh (Rob), and Kathy Pounders (Richard); nieces, Madison and Macy Pounders; and nephews, Aaron, Bryan, and Wesley Greg.
