John Donald Ege, Jr., 68, of Huntsville passed away Monday at his residence. John was a native of Berwyn, Illinois and a resident of Madison County since 1957. He was a veteran of the U.S. Marine Corps and a retired construction supervisor. He was preceded in death by his wife: Sandra Ege; two daughters: Karen Ege and Karla Ege and one brother: Robert Ege. Survivors include his daughter: Emily Ege Rogers; six grandchildren: Elizabeth Hargett, Anna Ennis, Rebecca Davidson, Jennifer Black, Kolton Meyer and LeAnn Coffell; four great-grandchildren: Hunter, Christian, Eleanor and Rylan; two sisters: Charlee (Bill) Marshall and Linda (Bill) Wharton and two brothers: William (Kathy) Ege and Bradford Ege. The family will receive friends Friday from 4:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. at Berryhill Funeral Home followed by a Chapel memorial service at 6:00 p.m. with Bro. Bill Daniel officiating.
