John Donald “Donnie” Smith, age 75, of Russellville, passed away on Saturday, December 30, 2023, at his residence.
Donnie especially loved his children and grandchildren. He loved being outdoors and fishing, and passed this love on to his children and grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parent, Tom & Ludie (Bolton) Smith), siblings, Thomas Smith, Kenneth R. Smith, Dianne McInnish, Linda Nesbitt, Jerry M. Smith, Dennis C. Smith, and granddaughter, Zoie Beth Anna Hamm.
He leaves to cherish his memory, his children, Jon Smith (Stephanie), Chris Smith (Peggy), Susan Vincent (Andrew), Amanda Gowers (Wesley); grandchildren, Christopher Alan Smith, Caige Smith, Cadence Smith, Shelby Smith Allen (Benny), Michael Hamm, Seth Hamm, Brantley Vincent, Lawton Vincent, Tucker Smith, Ezra Gowers, Isaac Gowers, Megan Pepper (Logan), three great-grandchildren, Sawyer Smith, Mila Smith, Axton Smith; sister, Debbie Campbell (Mike); and a host of nieces & nephews.
The visitation will be 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. Tuesday, January 02, 2024, at Spry Memorial Chapel. The funeral service will be at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, January 03, 2024, at Spry Memorial Chapel with Bro. Jeremy Seal speaking at the service. Burial will be at Taylor Cemetery in Rusellville.
The pallbearers will be Christopher Smith, Caige Smith, Drake Hipps, Braxton Hipps, and Benny Allen.
