Mr. John David Towns of Crossville, Alabama; passed away at the age of 71 years in the late hours of Wednesday – July 14, 2021.
Mr. Towns was born in Altoona, Alabama on the 27th of April in 1950 to the late William D. Towns and Evelyn Leona Morton Towns. He worked in the maintenance department for the Boaz City School District. Mr. Towns proudly served his country with the United States Army in the Vietnam War. Mr. Town loved to play music, especially guitar; antique cars and car racing.
Mr. Town leaves behind to celebrate and reminisce his life; son, Jason Milford Towns; daughters, Kristie Towns Harper (Danny) and Jennifer Towns; brothers, Frank Towns (Mary Ruth) and Roger Towns; sisters, Maggie Black, Ruby Green and Audrey Gibbs; grandchildren, Taylor Armstrong, Macy Campbell, Cody Towns, Josh Kumpkins and Elysa Towns; great grandchildren, Jaxson Lumpkin and Ryleigh Lumpkin.
In addition to his parents; Mr. Town is at last reunited with his beloved wife, Glenda Gail Hardin Towns; brothers, Joe Towns and Howard Towns; sister, Mary Privett.
A Visitation will be held at the Arab Heritage Memorial Chapel on Monday – July 19, 2021 from 12:00 p.m. – 2:00 p.m.
Funeral Services will be at the Arab Heritage Memorial Chapel on Monday – July 19, 2021 beginning at 2:00 p.m.
Interment will follow services immediately at the Baileyton Cemetery in Baileyton, Alabama.
