John Dalton Gentry, age 28 of Alexandria, Tennessee, passed away on Friday, July 31, 2020. He was born in Donelson, Tennessee on October 10, 1991. Dalton was employed by David Hixson at Heavenly Tree Service. He enjoyed all things pertaining to cars, such as restoration, repairing, and sales, as well as fishing. Dalton was preceded in death by his father, John Gentry; grandparents, Charles and Nell Gentry; and great-grandparents, James and Jean Oldfield. He is survived by his wife of two years, Jasmine Dull Gentry of Alexandria; children, Kyra, Saffire, Abel, and Jacelyn; mother, Candee Gentry of Lebanon; sisters, Jessica Danielle Gentry of Hermitage, and Peyton (Cody) Jacobs of Old Hickory; grandparents, Christie Alexander of Hermitage, and Calvin (Barbara) Lebgue of Hillsboro, Missouri; great-grandmother, Thelma Lebgue of Highland, Illinois; nieces, Alexis and Kenedi; and nephew, John Isaac. Visitation will be from 12-2 pm on Friday, August 7, 2020 at Moore-Cortner Funeral Home. A Memorial Service will follow at 2:00 pm in the Moore-Cortner Chapel with Sister Teresa Snyder officiating.
