John Cullum Ballou, Jr. or “Jr” 96, of Huntsville passed away Wednesday at his home after fighting an extended illness. “Jr” was preceded in death by his wife, Mattie Mae Connally. He is survived by his sister, Elizabeth Ballou along with nieces and nephews.
Jr served in the Armed Forces from 1941 to 1945 and fought in WWII. He will best known for 52 years of selling cars at Woody Anderson Ford. Jr was a member of Jackson Way Baptist Church.
Visitation will be Friday 5 to 8pm at Spry Funeral Home. The funeral service will be conducted Saturday 10am in the Spry Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in Maple Hill Cemetery
