TUPELO —The National Park Service has reopened the section of Natchez Trace Parkway from Milepost 326 to Milepost 336, including John Coffee Memorial Bridge. Final audible stipe placement and shoulder grading is still underway in this section of parkway. Travelers should be aware of mobile construction zones and potential single lane closures.

There may be occasional one-lane delays across the John Coffee Memorial Bridge across the Tennessee River, but it is open for travel. The bicycle camp at Colbert Ferry is open. Follow the orange detour signs.

A full closure from Mississippi Highway 25 (Tishomingo County) to North Pike Road (Colbert County, Alabama) and signed detour around the closure will remain in-place until the work is completed. Individual sections of the Parkway will reopen as the contractor completes work within each section.

This is part of an ongoing project that includes the rehabilitation of the main line motor-road, mill & overlay of ramps and pull-off areas, traffic safety improvements, drainage repairs, and accessibility improvements from Milepost 291 -331.

Updates to the road status, photographs of the work, and maps are available on the park website at www.nps.gov/natr and on Facebook @NatchezTraceParkwayNPS, or call (800) 305-7417.

Project funding was provided by a grant from Nationally Significant Federal Lands and Tribal Projects (NSFLTP), the National Park Service, and the Federal Highway Administration Federal Lands Transportation Project (FLTP) program.
