He was born on August 29, 1959, in Medon to Rosemary Reynolds Marsh and the late John Burton Marsh, Sr. On July 24, 1987, John married the love of his life, Lola Warren Marsh. They recently celebrated 37 years of a beautiful marriage filled with love, laughter, and countless memories.
John was a self employed farmer had a deep passion for farming and was a regular at auctions, always on the lookout for a good deal. A firm believer in “early to bed, early to rise,” John lived a life rooted in hard work and dedication. He had a special fondness for tractors of all kinds, never showing favoritism for a particular brand.
His love for animals was evident in the way he cared for his dogs and, more recently, some kittens that he had welcomed into his life. He was a very generous man, willing to help everyone in need and never met a stranger. Above all, John was a devoted family man who cherished his wife, children, and grandchildren.
He is survived by his wife Lola Warren Marsh; his mother, Rosemary Reynolds Marsh; his children, Peaches Hollomon (Andrew), Taylor White (Stanton), A.J. Marsh (Amy), and Morgan Marsh; his grandchildren, James Leonard, Sebastian Leonard, Raylan Hollomon, Jasper Hollomon, Sarah Hollomon, and Magnolia White.
John was known for his generous spirit; he would help anyone in need. He loved telling stories and reminiscing on old times. He always wanted his family to know that he loved them. His warmth, kindness, and ready smile will be remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing him.
