May 10, 1938-Dec. 1, 2015 John Braxton Houston, age 77, passed away on Tuesday, Dec. 1, 2015, in Florence, Alabama. John was born May 10, 1938, to Robert and Elbeth Houston in Los Angeles, California. He enjoyed doing crossword puzzles, working on computers and being on his ham radio.
John was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Ann Houston, and brother, David Houston. He is survived by his daughter, Carolyn Coleman; daughter, Teresa Cameron (David); daughter, Kathleen Stensgaard (Jack); son, John B.T. Houston; son, Thomas E.G. Houston; and 10 grandchildren. The family will receive friends from 6:30 p.m. to 7 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 12, 2015, at Porter Loring North.
The Rosary will be Saturday, Dec. 12, 2015, 7 p.m., at Porter Landing North Chapel, 2102 North Loop 1604 East, San Antonio, Texas.
The Mass will be Monday, Dec. 14, 2015, at 10 a.m., at St. Matthew Catholic Church, 10703 Wurzbach Rd., San Antonio, Texas.
Interment will follow in Holy Cross Cemetery.
