Mr. John Bell Besherse, II, age 59 of Athens, AL passed away on Thursday, June 13, 2019 at Huntsville Hospital. Mr. Besherse was born on October 20, 1959 in Huntsville, AL to John Bell Besherse and Betty Jean Archer Besherse.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his father-in-law, James Lomax.
Mr. Besherse is survived by his wife of 39 years, Denise Besherse of Athens, AL; son, John Bell Besherse, III and wife Stacey of Huntsville, AL; daughter, April Ridgeway of Elkmont, AL; grandchildren, Madeline Weckwarth and husband Austin, Brody Besherse, Layla Belle Besherse, Austin Ridgeway and Alivia Ridgeway; great-granddaughter, Rowan Grace Weckwarth; brothers, Doug Besherse (Rhonda), Jeff Besherse (Dana) and Mark Besherse (Pam) and several nieces and nephews.
Mr. Besherse loved coaching baseball and basketball, flying and teaching aviation.
Services for Mr. Besherse will be at 2:30PM on Saturday, June 15, 2019 at Limestone Chapel Funeral Home with Greg Tucker & John Gibson officiating. The family will receive friends from 11:00AM-2:15PM prior to the service. Burial will be in Roselawn Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Billy Hall, Jim McClary, Curtis Lomax, Steve Persell, Zach Besherse and Ben Besherse.
