John B. Talcott, Jr., 71, a native of San Antonio, Texas and a resident of Lauderdale County passed away Wednesday, February 20, 2013 at his residence. He was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church. Mr. Talcott was a retired maintenance supervisor at Reynolds Metals Company.
Visitation will be Tuesday, February 26, 2013 from 9:30 – 11 a.m. at St. Joseph Catholic Church with a mass of Christian burial beginning at 11 a.m. Officiating will be the Rev. Andrew Sullivan.
Mr. Talcott was preceded in death by his daughter, Amy Talcott; parents, John and Jewel Starret Talcott.
He is survived by his wife, Laura A. Veselka Talcott of Florence; sons, John B. Talcott, III (Kathie); Jimmy (Sally), Robby (Emilie) all of Florence; daughter, Megan E. Talcott; grandchildren, Kristen, JB, BreAnn, Gavin and Grant; great grandchild, Braylon.
