We regret to announce the passing of John Andrew Pajak, of Ardmore, Alabama, who passed away peacefully on November 4, 2024, at his home.
John was born on July 8, 1935, to the late Mr. Thaddeous Pajak and Mrs. Ann Skabinski Pajak in Evanston, Illinois.
Mr. Pajak spent a majority of his life in Ardmore, Alabama, where he was a veteran having served in the United States Army and then retiring from NASA in Huntsville, Alabama.
In his free time, he enjoyed spending time with his wife Louise and eating lots of sweets. John was a long-time member of the St, Paul’s Catholic Church for many years and served the Ardmore Community as a member of the Lions Club.
John was preceded in death by his 1st wife, Willa Mitchell Pajak, both of his parents, one grandson, Matthew St. John.
He is survived by his wife, Emma Louise Pajak, one daughter, Nancy Page, one sister, Betty O’Malley, three stepchildren, Melissa Davis, Elizabeth (Chris) Wade, Christine (Randy) Fahnestock, five grandchildren, Adam (Brittney) St. John, Allek Wade, Courtney (Roswell) Bearden, Haley (Don) Haynes, Kayla (Josh) Lancaster, nine great grandchildren.
A visitation will be held at St. Paul’s Catholic Church in Athens, Alabama on Friday, November 8, 2024, from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A Funeral Mass will follow directly afterwards at 11:00 AM. Burial will follow in Gatlin Cemetery. Father Tom Jones will officiate the service.
Ardmore Chapel Funeral Home will be assisting the family with services.
