Funeral service for Joey Vassar, 61, will be Thursday, August 15, 2024 at 3:00 PM at Peck Funeral Home with Bro. Hal Daigre officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing. Burial will be in Mt Tabor Cemetery. Visitation will be from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the funeral home.
Mr. Vassar died on Monday, August 12, 2024 at Decatur Morgan Hospital. He was born August 11, 1963, in Morgan County to Bo Vassar and Linda Dawn Weaver Vassar.
Mr. Vassar was preceded in death by his mother and a brother, Chris Bailey. Joey loved his grandchildren and Alabama Football.

7 Grandchildren: Iaylie, Mikah, Creedence, Torin, Nyjah, Onnor and Priscilla
Host of Nieces and Nephews
Pallbearers will be Dakota Wilson, Weston Evans, Sky Evans, Grey Sellers, Adam Miller and Brandon Hampton.
Honorary Pallbearers will be Nyjah and Onnor Wilson.
