Joey R. Jordan was born March 9, 1957 in Charleston, SC the son of the late Ernest D. and Ether Pearl Whitley Jordan.
Joey served his country honorably in the United States Army for three years before enlisting in the Air Force. He was self-employed as a brick mason and performed a lot of work for his family and friends. Fishing and vegetable gardening were among his favorite activities; Joey enjoyed sharing his produce with family, friends, and neighbors.
Joey departed this life on November 22, 2023 in Corinth, Mississippi at the age of 66 Years, 8 Months, 13 Days. He is survived by a son, Jason Jordan of Finger, TN; two sisters, Janis Gardner of Selmer, TN and Sherri Anderson and husband Steve of Adamsville, TN; several nieces and nephews; and many extended family and friends.
In addition to his parents, Joey was preceded in death by a brother, Larry Jordan.
