Joey Dwayne Halbrook, age 53, of Bankston Alabama passed away Sunday November 7, 2021 at his residence. The family will hold a private service at Davis Chapel Church of Christ. Norwood – Wyatt Chapel will be directing.
Mr. Halbrook was preceded in death by his grandparents, Jessie and Juanita Halbrook, and Reedy and Pauline Davis; his parents, Jimmy and Judy Halbrook; and his uncle, Tolbert Davis.
Mr. Halbrook is survived by his wife, April Dawn Halbrook; step-daughter, Tabitha Sanford; sons, Justin Halbrook (Ashlie) and Jesse Halbrook (Haley); sister, Teresa Halbrook Locke (Tony); a niece, Adrian Locke; nephew, A’Rick Locke; brother, Gary Halbrook (April Pitts); a host of other nieces, nephews, friends and family; papa bears grandcubs, Natalie, Denver and Kash Halbrook.
Joey Halbrook was born on July 19, 1968. He graduated from Berry High School in May of 1986. He was a truckdriver and really enjoyed it. Known by many and most as “skinny” or “skinny Brookes”. Joey will be dearly missed by his friends and family.
