Funeral service will be 11:00 a.m., Saturday, January 21, 2023 at the Pine Grove Missionary Baptist Church (759 Pine Grove Rd, Harvest, AL 35749) with Overseer John Jude officiating. Interment will be in the Pleasant Grove cemetery. Mr. Simmons will lie in repose one hour prior to funeral time.

Public viewing will be held from 2:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m., Friday, January 20, 2023 and 8:30 a.m. until 9:00 a.m., Saturday, January 21, 2023 at the Royal Funeral Home-Mason Chapel (718 Brownsferry St, Athens, AL 35611)
