Joel L. Anderton, 65 years old of Rogersville went home to be with the Lord, Tuesday, June 20, 2017 at Helen Keller Hospital.
Visitation will be Thursday, June 22, 2017 from 6:00 – 8:00 PM at Lawrence Funeral Home. The funeral service will be Friday, June 23, 2017 at 11:00 AM in Lawrence Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Dino Atkins and Bro. Larry Crumpton officiating. Burial will be in Hardshell Cemetery, County Road 235 Town Creek, Alabama 35672.
Mr. Anderton was a Production Operator for ATI Technology and attended Lexington Church of God.
Joel is survived by his wife: Doris Lavern Gambrell Anderton of Rogersville, one son: David Anderton of Heidelberg, Mississippi, one daughter: Crystal Leland and her husband, Greg of Ellisville, Mississippi, his parents: James Alton Anderton and Jewel Marie Thrasher Anderton of Town Creek, Alabama, two brothers: Merrell Anderton and his wife, Jane of Sheffield, Alabama and Mark Anderton and his wife, LeAnn of Carthage, Mississippi, two sisters: Karen Hargrove and her husband, Tim of Gulf Port, Mississippi and Donna Sellers and her husband, Shawn of Brooklyn, Mississippi, and two grandchildren: Brooklyn Anderton and Preston Anderton of Columbia, Mississippi.
Pallbearers will be: Jamey Keeton, Robbie Gray, Jeff Loosier, Tony Adams, Rickey Yarbrough and Clinton Yarbrough. Honorary Pallbearers will be Charles Borden and Carlos Borden
