Joel Graham, age 83, of Spruce Pine, passed away on Sunday, April 16, 2023, at his daughter’s home in Kimberly.
Joel worked at Wise Alloys for over 40 years. He was a faithful member of Quinn Church of Christ for 75 years and was baptized at the age of 8 years old.
He leaves to cherish his memory, his children, Lakristin Graham McLeod (Caleb), Hali Graham McDonald (Andrew); grandchildren, Millie McDonald, Graham McDonald, Scarlett McDonald, Fletcher McLeod; and soon to be Walker McLeod; brother, Gene Graham (wife, Linda); and several nieces & nephews.
He was preceded in death by his wife, LaQuetta Ann Ledbetter Graham; parents, Lonnie Delton & Hattie Mae (Grissom) Graham; and sister, Freida Graham Nixon.
The visitation will be 12:00 – 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, April 19, 2023, at Spry Memorial Chapel, with the funeral following at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel. Bro. Lonnie Oldag will officiate the service. The burial will be at Grissom Cemetery in Spruce Pine.
The pallbearers will be Ryan Champion, Carl Pierce, Andrew McDonald, Caleb McLeod, Gerald Leindecker, and DeWayatt Gilbert. The honorary pallbearers will be Jarred Pierce, Braxton Goodson, Allen Young, and Bryson Hacker.
