Joedy Jason Lognion, age 63, of Montgomery, passed away on Tuesday, August 15, 2023, at his residence after an extended illness.
Joedy was born on November 20, 1959, in Lake Charles, LA. He was a devoted LSU fan and loved fishing, hunting, and camping. He was a wonderful husband and best friend to Bridget.
He was preceded in death his parents, Walter & Emma (Guillory) Lognion; brother, Jeffery Lognion; and sister, Jennifer Lognion Carpenter.
He leaves to cherish his memory, his wife of 12 years, Bridget Smith Lognion; children, Michael McCawn, Ashton Lognion, Hope Smith; two grandchildren; brothers, Jerrell Lognion (Dejuan), Jerome Lognion (Claudia); in-laws, Bobby & Sue Smith; brothers-in-laws, Steven (Tina) Smith, Stacy (Kristie) Smith; special nieces, Lauren Lognion, Jessica Lognion; and several other nieces & nephews.
The visitation will 12:00 – 1:00 P.M. Saturday, August 19, 2023, at Spry Memorial Chapel. The funeral will follow at 1:00 p.m. in the chapel with Bro. John McCullar and Bro. Zach Smith officiating the service. The burial will be at Blue Springs Cemetery in Phil Campbell.
The pallbearers will be Ashton Lognion, Stacy Smith, Ben Jennings, Zach Smith, Frankie Tidwell, and Jackson Hightower.
