Joe Wiley Dixon, 78, of Ardmore, Tennessee, passed away on Saturday, May 27, 2023.
Joe was preceded in death by his parents, Bufford and Ruby Riddle Dixon, two brothers, John and LB Dixon, as well as one infant sister.
He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Betty Dixon, as well as two children, Donna and Donnie.
Joe enlisted in the United States Army in 1965 where he served in Germany. While enlisted he earned the National Defense Service Medal. Joe worked hard all his life as a residential electrician. He always made it a point to be available to his friends and neighbors for all their electrical needs, most times not taking any money for his services.
There will be a visitation held at Ardmore Chapel Funeral Home on Thursday, June 8, 2023, from 10:00 AM until 11:00 am. A chapel service will follow visitation and begin at 11:00 AM. Mr. Dixon is to be laid to rest at Ready Cemetery.
Ardmore Chapel Funeral Home is assisting the family with services.
