Joe Wesley Patterson, 79, Sheffield, passed away on Tuesday, May 21, 2024. A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, May 28, at Shaw Cemetery, Leighton, beginning at 10:00 a.m. with John Flanagan officiating.
Joe was a veteran of the US Army and a retired pipefitter with Local 760. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Jennifer Wallace; parents, Joe and Clara Patterson; and niece Tammy Patterson.
Joe is survived by his loving wife of thirty-eight years, Joyce K. Patterson; sons, Jason and Tommy Wallace (Tess); brother, Dennis Patterson (Judy); sister, Delinda Nichols (Wayne); special granddaughter, Paxton Wallace; grandchildren, Dakota Mincey, Kyle Wallace, and Colin Wallace; nephews, Stephen Nichols and Derrick Patterson; and nieces, Stephanie Karabaich and Tonya Gargis.
Friends and family will serve as pallbearers.
