Joe Vasquez age 71 of Guin, AL passed away Wednesday, November 10, 2021 at his residence.
Born June 10, 1950 in Brownsville, TX he is the Son of the late Hose Maria and Ruperta Galicia Vasquez, and the Husband of Betty Pipkins Vasquez. He had lived in Guin the last 41 years and worked for the Marion County Sheriff’s Department as Jailor and Corrections Officer. He was a member of the Holy Spirit Catholic Church.
He is survived by his Wife, Betty P. Vasquez, 2 Daughters, Mary Vasquez and Ann-Marie Perkins, a Son, Paul Vasquez, 2 Sisters, Fredez (Emilio Ramirez and Carmen Vasquez, a Brother, Robert Galicia, 6 Grandchildren, Christopher Vasquez, Dylan Vasquez, Liam Vasquez, Olivia Harcarik-Vasquez,, Harper Harcarik-Vasquez, and Chris Bryant and 2 Great Grandchildren, Isabella Bryant and Kendyl Bryant.
He was preceded in death by a Daughter Nina Altobelli.
Services held Saturday, November 13, 2021 at 12 Noon from the Holy Spirit Catholic Church in Winfield with Father Anil Thomas officiating.
