Funeral services for Mr. Joe V. Dunivan, age 82, are scheduled for 11:00am Tuesday October 26, 2021 at Chapel Hill Baptist Church with burial to follow in the Chapel Hill Cemetery. Mr. Dunivan passed away Saturday at his home in Lexington. He was a member at Chapel Hill Baptist Church and retired Maintenance worker at Johnson Controls. Mr. Dunivan was born April 11, 1939 in Henderson County to the late William and Lola Mae Warren Dunivan. He was preceded in death by his wife- Mary Lou Dunivan, 1 son- Keith Dunivan, step son- Tim Wood, step daughter- Jerita Phelps, two brothers- Frank Dunivan and James Dunivan, 6 sisters- Pauline Johnson, Louise McPeake, Eula Mae Horton, Lorene Reeves, June Henry and Joan Dunivan, grandson- Tyler Dunivan; Survivors include- two daughters- baby girl Jennifer Richmond (Joel) and Jill Dunivan, step daughter- Pam Parker, brother- Carl Dunivan (Martha), sister- Dorothy McAdams, sister in law Betty Dunivan,5 grandchildren- Ty Halters, Dannica Richmond, Trevor Richmond, Darren Richmond, Tristan Richmond, two step grandchildren- Josh Phelps and Kellen Parker and special caregiver Pennie Doyle.
