Mr. LaCroix was born on Friday, July 24, 1942 in Hornsby, Tennessee to the late Marvin Alvis and Mavis Evelyn Turner LaCroix. On Saturday, May 6, 1995, he was united in marriage to Peggye Dodd LaCroix, who survives.
He lived most of his life in the Hardeman County area and retired as a welder for GM&O, IC, and Gulf railroads. Some of his favorite pastimes included yard work, fishing, gardening and camping. He was a member of Walnut Grove Baptist Church in Bolivar.
In addition to his wife, survivors include a son, Jared Nathaniel LaCroix of Bolivar; daughter, Sharon Cossar and husband Billy of Bolivar; brother, Ray LaCroix and wife Sharon of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma; grandson, Austin Cossar; and seven step-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents; a daughter, Michelle LaCroix; and a sister, Annie Ruth Donahoe.
