Joe S. Reed, age 86, of Pleasant Grove, passed away on Wednesday, April 24, 2019 at Princeton Baptist Medical Center.
The family will receive friends on Saturday, April 27, 2019 at 1:00 p.m. at Collins-Burke Funeral Home, funeral services will follow at 2:00 p.m. in the Collins-Burke Chapel. Burial will be at Pocahontas Cemetery. Randall Ray will officiate.
Mr. Reed was preceded in death by his Father-George Calvin Reed; Mother-Minnie LeElla Reed; Sister-Susan Grace Thomas.
He is survived by his Wife-Betty Katherine Reed of Pleasant Grove; Daughters-Cheryl Petix (Tony) of Bessemer and Pamela Reed Allums of Pleasant Grove; Granddaughter-Stephanie Petix Hydrick (David); Great Grandchildren-Riley Kate Hydrick and Ridge Hydrick.
Pallbearers will be James Kilgore, Randy Skinner, Jeff Robinson, David Hydrick, Josh Kilgore, Joseph Kilgore, Jacob Kilgore and Logan Eads.
