Funeral for Joe N. Terry, 74, of Town Creek will be Wednesday, July 17, 2013, at 2 p.m. at Parkway Funeral Home with Jerry Stricklin and Tony Collins officiating. Burial will be in Smyrna Baptist Church Cemetery. Visitation will be tonight from 6 to 8 at the funeral home.
Mr. Terry, who died Sunday, July 14, 2013, at NHC Moulton, was born July 31, 1939, in Lawrence County to Lee Ander and Mae Belle Terry. He was a welder, construction worker and attended church at Cornerstone. He enjoyed spending time with his kids and grandkids. Mr. Terry was preceded in death by his wife of 50 years, Liddie E. Terry; his parents; and one brother, Billy Lee Terry.
Survivors include his wife, Katheryn Terry; three sons, Bobby Joe Terry, Ricky Terry (Cherie) and Heath Terry; one brother, Jim Ray Terry of Michigan; five grandchildren, Adam Terry, Nathan Terry, Kassie Terry, Zack Terry and Hannah Terry; three great-grandchildren, Isaiah Terry, Xavier Terry and Emma Terry; and one stepgreat-grandchild, Sarah Kerby.
Pallbearers will be Adam Terry, Nathan Terry, Zack Terry, Dwight Terry, Terrie Logston, Donnie Cartee and Russel McGregor.
Honorary pallbearers will be Kassie Terry and Hannah Terry.
