Joe N. Burroughs, age 77 of Chelsea, passed away on Friday April 24, 2020 at his residence. Mr. Burroughs was a member of New Temple Baptist Church in Bagley. He was retired as Superintendent of Shop Operations from BNSF Railroad after 36 years of service.
He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers and one sister.
Survivors include his wife of 55 years, Wanda Hayes Burroughs; his son, Mike Burroughs and wife Kim; grandsons, Collin, Carson and Tanner Burroughs; sister, Beverly Marquis; sisters-in-law, Nancy Hays, Iris Hayes and Wilma Burroughs; several nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.
Graveside services and interment will be at New Horizon Memorial Gardens. Rev. J.J. Creel will officiate.
