Joe Massey, 79, died Sunday, March 14, 2021 at North Ms. Medical Center, Iuka, MS. He was born in Tishomingo County, MS to James Isom and Rosa Mabel Jackson Massey. He worked at Falcon for thirty years and was a security guard for Tiffin Motor Homes for fifteen years. He was a member of Forrest Grove Baptist Church, Tishomingo, MS.
Services will be Tuesday, March 16, 4 p.m. at Forrest Grove Baptist Church, Tishomingo, MS with Bro. Dwight South officiating. Burial will be in Forrest Grove Cemetery. Deaton Funeral Home, Belmont, MS will be in charge of arrangements.
He is survived by five children – Teresa Cranford (Ray), Lesa Judd (Mike), Macky Massey (Toni), Ricky Hicks (Debra) and Jeff Wilemon (Tonya); grandchildren – Samantha Thomas (Chris), Andy Bolding, Jackie Cranford, Skye Judd, Tyler Massey (Kendra) and Sydnee Wilemon; great-grandchildren – Ariana Bolding, Jaden, Brooklee and Cullyn Thomas and a host of nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Susie Massey, sons, Bo and Terry Massey, his parents, a sister, Clynese Franks (Jimmy) and a brother, Kenneth Massey (Gertrude).
Pallbearers will be Kelvin Hammock, Joey Taylor, Phillip Shaw, Brady Hammock, Jeff Wilemon, Ray Cranford, Terry Lindsey, Terry Enlow and Noah Enlow. Honorary pallbearers will be Royce Hutcheson, Bo Lawrence, Glen Perry and Wayne Enlow.
Visitation will be Tuesday, March 16, 2-4 p.m. at Forrest Grove Baptist Church.
