Joe Madison Hubbard, 84, a beloved husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his loved ones.  He leaves behind a legacy of love, kindness, and dedication to his family and friends.

Joe was preceded in death by his Parents-Joe Wheeler Hubbard and Vadie Hubbard, and his Grandson-Xander McWalters.

Joe is survived by his Wife of almost 64 years-Barbara, his best paw friend-Bucky, and his Children-Lisa Seales (Neal), Terry Hubbard (Jewel), Christy Williams (Dave), Amanda Rigsby (Russell), and Becky Adams.  He was a proud grandfather to Stewart (Candace), Ashley
(Billy), Adam, Allysen (Jon), Melanie, Parker, Ross, and Rowen, a cherished great-grandfather to 11 great-grandchildren, and a large extended family.

Joe’s life was marked by his unwavering commitment to God, his family, his church family at Mount Harmony Church of Christ, and his community.  His kindness and generosity touched the lives of all who knew him. He will be deeply missed by those who had the privilege of knowing him.

Pallbearers will include Billy Bennett, Greg Hubbard, Ross McWalters, Russell Rigsby, Stewart Ochs, and Burnett Brown.

A memorial service to honor Joe’s life will be held at Collins-Burke Funeral Home, Tuesday, August 13, 2024 at 1pm.  Visitation will be Monday, August 12, 2024 from 5pm-7pm at the funeral home.  Burial will be at Hunter’s Chapel Holy Church of Christ Cemetery.  Tommy Alford will be officiating.  Family and friends will gather to celebrate the life of a remarkable man.
