Joe Maddox, age 89, of Florence, died Friday, July 5, 2013.
Visitation will be 6-9 p.m. Sunday, July 7, at Spry-Williams Funeral Home of Florence. The service will be 2 p.m. Monday, July 8, in the funeral home chapel, with Brother Bill Harper officiating. Burial will be at Tri-Cities Memorial Gardens. Pallbearers are Tom Jones, Sam Anderson, Jim Thorne, Scott Thorne, Jeremiah Jones and Joshua Jones.
He was a member of Central Baptist Church of Florence.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Fay Maddox.
Survivors are his daughters, Pat Anderson (Sam) and Molly Jones (Tom); brother, Russell, sister, Betty; grandchildren, Julie and Scott Thorne, Jeremiah and Joshua Jones; great-grandson, Garrett Edward Thorne.
