Joe Mack Maples, formerly from Athens, graduated from Athens High in 1971 and attended the University of Alabama on a tennis scholarship. He was born April 27, 1953 and died September 13, 1999.
There will be a memorial service at Athens City Cemetery on Sunday, April 21, 2024, at 3 p.m. Friends and family are welcome.
