Joe Daniel Butler was born October 2, 1963 in Alcorn County, MS the son of the late Edward Butler and Kathryn Jackson Butler Smith. He worked for Pittman Brothers Propane Gas Company in Corinth, MS.
Joe was united in marriage to his wife June on January 3, 1997. He departed this life on October 14, 2015 in Memphis, TN at the age of 52 Years, 12 Days.
Joe loved his grandkids and family with all his heart. He enjoyed working, riding his motorcycle, gardening, and being with his family and friends. He was Baptist.
He is survived by his wife June Butler of Selmer, TN; a brother, Keith Butler and wife Barbara of Michie, TN; a sister, Suzie Frazier and husband Melvin of Ripley, MS; two stepsons, Shane Whittemore and Matt Whittemore of Corinth, MS; a stepdaughter, Jessica Gilliland of Corinth, MS; two granddaughters, Emma Whittemore and Madison Henry; a grandson, Austin Henry; two nephews, Daniel Crum, Paul Mullins and wife Jordan; a niece, Carley Mullins and a host of extended family and friends.
In addition to his parents, Mr. Butler was preceded in death by his mother-in-law, Gladys Gilliland; his uncle, Hillard Butler; grandparents, Daniel and Etta Butler.
