Joe Ben Edwards – Obituary

Joe Ben Edwards entered into eternal rest on Sunday, May 26, 2013 in Huntsville, Alabama. Husband of the late Margaret Edwards; son of the late Parker and Samantha Edwards; father of Pamela Bell, Willie Dean Cain, Cedric, Johnny, Quincy and Leon Edwards, and the late Joe Edwards Jr., and Rosemary Hawkins; brother of Leon Holley. He is also survived by 22 grandchildren and a host of great-grandchildren, great great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.Funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, June 8, 2013 at Beulah Land Baptist Church (2436 St. Maurice Street, New Orleans, Louisiana) with Reverend Michael Zacharie officiating. Interment will be in the Restlawn Cemetery, Avondale, Louisiana. Mr. Edwards will lie in repose one hour prior to funeral time with Rhodes Funeral Home, directing.
